“Hi-diddle-dee-dee, an actor’s life for me!” says Pinocchio in ARIEL Theatrical’s adaptation of Carlo Colladi’s classic tale about a puppet who wants to be a boy. Close to 10,000 students, parents and teachers will be in the audience throughout the week of school performances. The only public performance is Friday, March 11 at 7 pm. Tickets are: $16 for adults; $13 for students, seniors and military; $11 for children 3 to 12. This performance is NOT at ARIEL’s home, The Karen Wilson Children’s Theatre in Downtown Salinas.

ARIEL’s Spring Conservatory musical adaptation showcases a naughty puppet who really wants to become a “real boy” and learns, through his adventures and misadventures, important lessons in responsibility, integrity and perseverance. The 47-member cast, which includes the wooden toymaker Geppetto, a singing and dancing cricket and a host of other engaging characters, will perform 11 times on the Sherwood stage, Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11.

For three decades, ARIEL Theatrical has provided opportunities for children, adolescents and adults to come together on stage in an environment that expects hard work while at the same time inspiring participants to bring the best of themselves to the experience.
